Not really worth a star
The photographs on the webpage through which I made the booking is misleading, it showed a beautiful surrounding with even a palm tree which does not even belong to the lodge. The lodge is next to a shop of some sorts which is always cluttered with people. The receptionist was in a fluster and running around in circles because there were two couples booking more than one person. It took some time for her to figure out that we had actually paid for the rooms in advance. The rooms I booked were not available and I was given two other rooms, despite the fact that I reserved these two specific rooms. The security guard assigned showed us the rooms as we could not find them although it is a very small place. We eventually found them ourselves. Parking was totally inadequate and you could not park outside your room but had to negotiate with another guest that you share his parking. The food in the restaurant was very bad and I went for something safe like a hamburger. When we left the restaurant after dinner there were two men standing next to the restaurant urinating against a tree in full view of guests who were sitting outside. Security is very lax about this and could have been on the spot to stop this kind of behaviour. The TV's in both rooms did not work and despite a number of requests and subsequent promises it was never fixed

Halfway stop
The room was fine for an overnight stay. One could not stay over for any length of time as there is not much, if anything, to do. Could be a little noisy for kids to sleep.

Pleasant stay at Ka-Ma Lodge
Very affordable rates. Friendly welcome. Rooms basic but with everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Appreciated the air-con.

Overall a good time
The food and accommodation was good. The service at dinner was good but at breakfast was very slow. All morning coffee very limited. Toilet and TV not working well. Overall a enjoyable time.
