We started our holiday at a sheep farm near Cradock, which was fantastic with wonderful hosts. Ended the holiday at KarMichael Farm, which is very beautiful with stunning views. However, the fridge was not working and for a more upmarket establishment, one would expect a working fridge, especially as we had just bought some milk, yoghurt and perishables for breakfast the next morning. We never met the hosts, which makes me think they could not be bothered as we were only staying the one night. I shall not return, had a better experience at Sani Pass backpackers, at least they had a working fridge.

Enjoyed our stay
We arrived at 2:30am with my husband after a long drive, and received friendly welcome from Mavis. She is a gem!
We enjoyed our stay and will come back if we are in the area.

Feedback on the stables KarMichael Farm
The 6 night stay at KarMichael Farm (in the stables) was great, clean, well serviced and nice environment.
The only small problem was the size of the fridge in the unit. Staying for a longer period and doing self catering I would have prevered a larger fridge with a decent freezer size.
But still highly recommended.
