Karoo-Palet

The best place to stay in Oudtshoorn. Beautiful, clean, up-market accommodation at affordable rates. Will recommend to anyone.

We arrived at Karoo-Palet, a little apprehensive about staying in the town as we prefer the country, but we were soon put at ease. We received a warm welcome and the setting is wonderful with an uninterrupted view tor the Swartberg Mountains. The house has been built to make the most of the scenery. At the very edge of town it has more of a country feel than some of the country places we have previously stayed. We found ourselves so settled at the edge of a paradise that we often stayed in to enjoy the privilege. I would definitely recommend Karoo-Palet as more than a simple stopover, but a place to relax and enjoy too.
