We did enjoy but our rooms were not up to date. We didn't have a stove, microwave, sink and water in the kitchen and rooms were full of flies. We had to go and buy something to chase the flies but still no peaceful sleep and one of our chalets were next to sewerage and it was overflowing nobody said anything or apologized for that. Outside lights were not working, we couldn't stay outside at night. Needs some touchups. And also there was no shelter for the braai area from the sun or rain, we were braaing in the rain. Lack of customer service.

not impressed
I was not impressed. The booking was pleasant.. But on arrival there are no signs on the property for the reception or restaurant. The chalet doesn't look like the pictures, very disappointed, there was no coffee or tea in the rooms. We were late for breakfast and accept that we probably wouldn't of had breakfast but it would be nice to have a proper host to let us know that, instead the gentleman saw us and went back to his place. It is not our job to run after the owners sorry to say. Will probably never return to Kemonate Lodge nor recommend it to anyone.

Not up to scratch!!!
Kemonate Lodge wasn't that bad but neither that good as well!
The place lacks a golden touch more importantly on the inside of their chalets:
The cleaning needs to be improved. Fumigation has to be regularly done as the venue is swamped with ants and all sorts of insects...you can't leave your plate of food unattended as within seconds they will be all over your food. The pool was dirty, the venue only attempted to clean on Saturday with the promise that it would be done by Sunday and guess what, it still looked not conducive to swim (why not keep it clean at all times or two days before your guests check-in???
The setting outside is perfect for a holiday away from the city for some of us as it is tranquil and beautiful, the resort needs to invest in re-doing the deco and their referrals would definitely increase!

Staying at Kemonate Lodge exceeded our expectations
We were very impressed with the clean environment and healthy surroundings. Most of all, the provision of kitchen utensils and bathrooms were beyond doubt, the best! Thank you for the hospitality.

Thanks, we had a great time. My friends were skeptical at first but we found Kemonate Lodge to a cosy place and accomodating to a friends get together.
We needed to take a dip in the pool before we left so please make sure you do something about the state of the pool. Besides that all was good.
