Enjoyable Stay at Kingfisher Cottage, Marina da Gama, Muizenberg, S.Africa
My wife and I spent a very comfortable and safe 9 day stay at Kingfisher Cottage in early March. The self catering unit was well located, adequate in size and layout for the two of us, well appointed, clean and quiet. Our landlady Ruby was helpful, responsive, and yet gave us our privacy.
We highly recommend Kingfisher Cottage to prospective guests.

Absolutely perfect!
We spent 10 days at Kingfisher Cottage, and it was perfect in every respect. Spacious, well-appointed, comfortable, clean, tastefully furnished. Our hosts were helpful, friendly and discreet. Kingfisher is easy to access from the main freeways. The cottage is directly on the water in a quiet corner of the Marina - peace and tranquillity guaranteed, and we loved watching the birds, and waking up to their calls. The swimming pool was great to cool off in the heat, the South Easter provided all the aircon needed, and the view on the mountains is spectacular. Our tip: don't schedule away evening away -- sit on the deck with a glass of chilled white wine and enjoy the sunset, the view, nature, the starry night skies, and contentment.

Lovely lake front cottage
We have been staying during easter weekend. Clean and spacious room with large living room & garden. Enjoyed boating on the lakes. Close to Muzenburg & beach. Thanks Ruby, we will be back soon.

We loved it
Spacious, bright and well equipped cottage in beautiful location. We braaied on the private deck and used the pedalo to explore the area. Ruby and Dick were very friendly and helpful. We hope to return to Cape Town next year and if so, this is where we will stay - we loved it.

Very lovely and quiet
One of the best places we have stayed in South Africa. Very friendly and helpful hosts. If we come back to South Africa we will stay here again. About a half an hour drive to Waterfront. Beaches very close.

Kingfisher Cottage
We stayed there for 8 nights. I'm born and raised in Cape Town but never realized how beautiful it really is until you view it from certain angles. From Kingfisher Cottage you have the most beautiful view. It's peaceful. The beach is 10min walk from the cottage. If you're a person who does not like being away from home to long Kingfisher will let you feel like you have a new home. Thank you Ruby and your husband for an awesome stay.
