The position of this Lodge is superb and it is well laid out to take advantage of the setting.
As a self catering lodge we found it well equiped and comfortable. We will definitely use them again.

The most delightful stay! Place is absolutely beautiful, rooms are marvelous. The setting on the river is so nice, one could easily stay more than a night! There is a central dining / lounge with a pool table and big screen. Every room also has TV, but the setting is so nice, you will not use it. Our plates and glasses were all ready for our evening meal, with milk and juice in the fridge! Also a nice stoep and beautiful braai area. There is a guard for the vehicles and safe parking for the cars and trailers.

Too short a time
Only stayed 1 night en route to Bots but think it is a great place to stay for a couple of days to escape the fast pace of life. Would recommend it.

Rather delightful
We stayed at Klippan overnight on our way to Zim via Botswana, so didn't do much except eat and sleep. However, the way the lodges have been put together is great - the decor has several rustic, local finishes that really fit in with the wild life theme. It is a green oasis on the banks of the Limpopo river that is a very welcome resting place.

Totally surprised by Klippan Lodge. What a great place for stopover or even a stay of a few days. Scenic,comfortable,good rooms,etc.etc. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.
