Easter at Kloppenheim
We stayed in Unit 205 over Easter 2015. Fantastic accommodation for a family of 4, offering great value for money. It is the ideal venue for a quiet family breakaway. Entrance to the estate looks a little tatty though and requires a lick of paint.

Too short a stay
What a lovely spot-so sorry we only spent one night in the self catering chalets. The underfloor heating and gas fireplace kept us super warm and dinner at the pub was great. Just a pity the hotel was almost empty. Would definitely return.

Kloppenheim self catering
We had a lovely time; the unit was clean, well furnished, comfortable and warm.
The under floor heating and bathroom heaters make it a pleasure in the cold weather.
It was lovely to sit in the sunny bay window and look out at the stunning view. There is a gas braai on the patio.
The staff were efficient and friendly. The unit was spotless and serviced daily. I would definitely go back.
The only disappointment was dinner at the hotel; it was possibly the worst meal we have eaten. Not good value at R180.00 pp for cold vegetable soup, dry pork loin with a "dodgy" sauce and spaghetti, followed by soggy sponge cake (meant to be apple pie) with runny, oversweet custard!
