Nice for a few days
The grounds are lovely and we were able to see zebra, wildebeest, ostriches and springbok on the neighbouring land.
They very helpfully added a single bed for our small son.
It's recommended to bring bottled water with you.
We found it a bit unnerving that there was a risk of being locked out in the evening - you need to arrange in advance if you'll be back after dark and the owners aren't around all that much to arrange this with, but can be called. Eating in is easier.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Lodge. The Lodge is beautiful and well-equipped and the scenery is exquisite and extremely peaceful. It was just what we needed - a quiet weekend to rejuvenate the soul.

Great, quiet, welcoming getaway
We were greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile by our host. The facilities were clean and had everything we needed. The animals were a pleasant bonus. I would highly recommend Lokuthula Lodge for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Beautiful
The lodge is beautiful and We enjoyed our stay. Our 2 year old son loved the animals and the pool area. We had difficulty finding the lodge from the main road(R563); there were no signs with the name of the lodge compared to other lodges in the area.

Pleasant stay
We celebrated our anniversary and just needed a quick getaway from city life. The lodge was perfect for this. We were assisted when needed and the cottage was clean and cozy. The ostriches were also very entertaining!

Awesome stay I had with my partner. The tranquility of the place just perfect to forget the busy life of the city. Loved how everything was thought of with regards to the catering. Everything that u needed was at your fingertips. The chalets and everything inside made you forget that you're still at the lodge. I would be lying if I said we didn't enjoy our stay. I recommend this 100% - to anyone.

Situated just out of the daily rush! The whole place is stunning and lets you relax with only nature and mountains around you! Ria is a great hostess.

Very comfortable overnight stay
My room at Lokuthula was very comfortable and spotlessly cleaned and maintained. All equipment and facilities appeared to be brand new and I had everything I needed. Reception and organisation by Ria was most hospitable and Willem's trouble in assisting with late arrival was friendly and really convenient. Incredible value for money. I would recommend the place to anyone.
