Moramba Cottage

I stayed with my hubby and kids for 2 nights. Pieter and Ester were very friendly and hospitable. The flat is in a convenient location, clean and well-equipped for a self catering stay. The heater and air conditioning kept us warm throughout a cold night in PE!

Moramba Cottage is a clean, comfortable place to stay, especially if one is staying for a long period of time. The unit has lots of sunlight, so it's warm inside. On colder days, there is a heater in the kitchen/living room space and an air con/heater unit in the bedroom for extra comfort. The furnishings are modern, so it's simple with style. Everything is available to cook one's own meals on days that one doesn't want to go out. When I asked for a coffee plunger or maker, the property owner made sure that I got both. Areas for improvement include: (1) better pans and pots, rather than the rusty ones that are there now; (2) a full-length mirror for those who might have to dress up for meetings or dinners, instead of just the one mirror in the bathroom; (3) a waste basket or bin in the bedroom, instead of just the one big one in the kitchen and small one in the bathroom; and (4) besides bath towels, providing hand towels (we had one for a few days that wasn't replaced when the cleaning person came to change our towels) and face cloths would be nice. Also, because it was advertised that the accommodation would be cleaned daily except on Sundays and holidays, we had expected that service. Of the six nights that we were there, our unit was only cleaned twice (a very quick cleaning on Saturday and, then, a more thorough cleaning on Tuesday).
