Notts cottage
Great place to stay. The pictures do not do justice as to how beautiful Notts cottage is. Peaceful and quiet. Heaters in all rooms. Definitely one the best places I've stayed at and with The Chocalate heaven Factory and Cheese Shop not too far away.

A Gem!
We had a wonderful stay at Notts Cottage. The accommodations were superb and comfort was as advertised. We only met Ivan (our gracious host) on our stay and he was most helpful and obliging. The only negative (but not the end of the world) was that the unit was not serviced. Definitely the Midlands best kept secret! Dave

Fabulous Place the ultimate resting place.
We loved our stay at Notts Cottage. The place is beautiful, spacious, has everything you need and the views are spectacular. Attention to detail is evident the moment you enter the estate gates. We will most most definitely go back and hopefully stay longer than 3 nights. Missing Notts cottage already all the way Swaziland.

Beautiful modern flatlet
What a lovely cottage! I was hesitant at first when I saw that the cottage was attached to a house within an estate and not free-standing, but it was not a problem as neighbours were quiet and we felt like we had the privacy we wanted. It was lovely waking up and hearing the cows mooing in the field nearby. The cottage itself was beautiful and modern on the inside with all the appliances and comforts that you would need or want. The heated towel rails were luxurious! I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

What a fantastic place to stay!
Ivan and Avril have created a wonderful space where one or more can relax and enjoy the Midland's, even during the winter.
The lounge and kitchen have everything one could need.
The main bedroom is the one we want in our own home.
This venue allowed us to take a moment and breath, just what we were looking for.
Thank you Ivan and Avril.

Great value
Very clean, comfortable and well appointed cottage. Will definitely stay there again. I am a regular to the midlands and you will be a struggle to find better value for money on the meander.

Everything you'll need
We spent one night at the cottage, arriving late in the afternoon Ivan had switched the heaters on earlier for us to arrive in comfort. Spacious and well equipped, I couldn't imagine anyone needing or wanting anything that this cottage doesn't have.

Wish we had stayed longer
My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at Notts Cottage and wish we had stayed much longer. This place is so comfortable you actually don’t want to go out! The elegant, modern décor reflects the superb taste of the owners; everything you could possibly require, plus your own garage and private garden together with outstanding views from the huge windows. Thank you.

Wonderful place to stay!
We stayed at Notts Cottage for 2 nights and wished our stay was longer! The cottage has all one could wish for, it is beautifully furnished and has a modern kitchen with dishwasher which was much appreciated after a busy day of sightseeing. The cottage is wonderfully spacious and the bedrooms are not only beautfully decorated but were also super comfortable. We really enjoyed the views from the garden and beautiful sunset over the mountains. Anvil and Ivan were great hosts and thought of so many small details such as tea, coffee and rusks in the kitchen to lovely soaps in the bathroom. They were very helpful with suggestions on what to see and places to eat. We would definitely recommend Notts Cottage and if we are fortunate to visit the Midlands again then that's where we will be staying.
