Stunning views
Although Pumula is very rustic, the views are fantastic and the solid log and thatch roof make for a charming stay. The bedrooms are in a separate cottage to the lounge, dining room and kitchen so you need to go outside to access them. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are separated by half walls and the 2 bathrooms have only baths and no shower.

We booked in advance and only read the reviews after paying. Not having a shower and the outdated furniture. We were very sceptical. On arriving we were astonished by the beautiful view of the Drakensberg. We would definitley go back as the outdated furniture and rustic cabins is worth the stay and it fits in great with the area rather than having luxury.
