We were so surprised by the hospitality of James and Line' Ryan. The place is stunning and with the most amazing view, there was no need to get out and explore the Cape. We were able to totally unwind and relax with our children, especially at the private pool overlooking the beach. When we wanted a walk on the beach or fresh sea food, all we had to do was walk down to the beach. James and Line' have a gift for hospitality and even made sure we had some food to carry us through to the next day as we arrived late on Christmas Day and shops were closed. We will definitely visit when we are in the Cape again.

Home from home! Magic!
Liné and James could not have been more wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them during our month-long stay. The apartment was very stylishly furnished and very peaceful. The lovely garden with its own pool overlooking the Hout Bay beach was perfect for relaxation.
Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. We have made some great new friends in James and Liné and would not hesitate to stay with them again.

Little diamond
Myself and my partner spent 7 days at Ryan's place in February. Upon searching the Internet for apartments and hotels we stumbled upon this little diamond and there was nothing else on offer that even come close to this place so we booked up and so glad we did. Although the photos are amazing they can't quite do justice for how beautiful this apartment really is. The overall quality of finish and design was impeccable and it had the kind of quality no hotel will be able to come close to. We arrived to be greeted by James and his family and was shown around the place. From the kitchen to the en-suite bedrooms, the amazing bathrooms and private pool area - everything was amazing. It's right across the road from the beach and has easy access to local shops and bars in the vicinity. James himself was very helpful in assisting us whenever he could with arranging day trips, shark diving and trips up Table Mountain. The property was far enough out of the centre of Cape Town to have a relaxing atmosphere but near enough to experience the hustle and bustle and to see the bars and clubs. Overall I'd rate this property as a top spot so when we had enough of travelling around we could just chill out at the private pool. If you're heading to Cape Town and are looking for hotel alternatives look no further. This place was so special and we'd like to thank James for helping us make our holiday even better. We will definitely be back.

Amazing view
We had an amazing time at Ryans Place. The view is uncomparable and the location is perfect. This is a holiday that our family will treasure forever.
