Amazing stay and hosts!
Exceptional! - My girlfriend and I went to Gansbaai to go Shark Cage Diving and stayed at the Saxon Lodge. The second we walked in we were given an amazing welcome and shown to our room. After unpacking we made our way to the bar and this is where we met Caron and Dave. Absolutely amazing hosts! I have Dave to thank for the hangover leading to my "sea-sickness" the following day on the water!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Saxon Lodge. They were very warm, welcoming and helpful folks - they even helped us arrange for our Great White Shark diving! The room was very nice. The town doesn't have much, and we wouldn't have stayed there if not for the shark diving, so wouldn't recommend Gansbay to those not diving with the sharks. But they were able to send us to find two satisfactory dinners while there. Quick drive to the shark boat area. And again, very warm people running this place!
