Seahorse Apartment

Overall we really liked this place and our comments are mostly positive. The positives - The apartment is very clean and comfortable and is in a great location. It is a very close walk to the waterfront with shops and restaurant's and is just around the corner from a supermarket and ATM. There is secure off street parking. The owner provides a great little folder with heaps of info like his favourite restaurant's to try, the closest laundry etc. The negatives - The main draw back in this place for us was the cooling. It is a two bed apartment but only one small fan is provided. If you open the windows and door you do get a fantastic breeze through the apartment. However, there are no screens so at night you also get quite a few bugs. If the heat doesn't worry you or you are travelling in winter I would highly recommend this place. Our other negatives were the light and noise. It gets light VERY early in S.Africa and we found that the blinds were not sufficient to keep the rooms dark past 5am. Add to that the noise of pigeons that seem to be encouraged to live around the apartment by neighbours and sleeping becomes a challenge. In saying all that I would go back purely for the comfort, convenience and the friendly owner.

We enjoyed our stay, there is nothing you need to take with. The owners thought of everything you would need. It is close to all the shops and you do not need to drive, it is situated in a good area. The flat was clean and tidy, we felt at home. The owner made us feel welcome and did not interfere with us during our stay. We could rest at ease. Thank you so much.
