A little gem in the african bush
Thaba Lenaka would put many upmarket establishments to shame, everything regarding the location of the cottages, the design, the interior has been carefully thought out resulting in total satisfaction for the guests. I never go back to the same place twice but my wife and i will definitely come back to Thaba Lenaka.

The house is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. The one shortfall for our party was that both toilets were upstairs. I found it extremely difficult to climb the stairs to go to the bathroom during the day. House definitely difficult for people who are not 100 % physically fit. Otherwise very difficult to find anything to complain about. The deck is amazing, the dishwasher an absolute treat - we loved the place. Thank you for lovely weekend away.

High quality accomodation
We stayed at thaba lenaka for 2 nights first week May 2013. The pictures do not do the house justice, is finished to a very high standard and extremely comfortable. The decking area is a particular feature with a gas braai to hand. Two bedrooms both en-suite make this a superb location for 2 couples to enjoy the peace with excellent privacy.
Marie makes you most welcome and everything you will need is in the house. Bring the wine, beer and braai meat and away you go. Even full DSTV for late at night!
Not the cheapest but all things considered good value.

Idyllic getaway
From the moment we walked into the guesthouse we were blown away. The furnishing was and layout was beaten only by the view from the wooden deck. We must have spent 40 percent of our time on this deck where we braai'd, played board games or just crashed for the afternoon. The road back to the main gate became the morning jogging track and afternoon stroll path, under constant scrutiny of Zebra, Wildebeest and Gemsbok. We will go back!
