Big Fig Camping
We camped on the lovely green grass at the Big Fig, There was electricity and water supplied and plenty of shade. The ablutions were clean, and the water pressure for a much needed shower was wonderful!! Management was very helpful and friendly, more than willing to accommodate our requests and offer advice. Restaurant offered all that we needed, even with cuppacinos on the menu. Overall stay was great - so much so that we came back on our way home and camped overnight again. Thank you Big Fig - we would definetely stay over with you guys again!!

The ideal stopover for visits to and from Boswana
Being within a about 3 km from the Botswana border crossing into Botswana, it proved ideal for our first and last night of our journey from OR Tambo airport and our trip to Botswana.
We were made extremely welcome by the owner Jan, and found our room most comfortable, and the fridge was a welcome extra. The gardens around the rooms were in excellent order. The attached restaurant served excellent salads and burgers, the only downside was that it closed at 6pm. Again breakfast was good, but we didn't have one on our last stay because they didn't start until a little after 7.00am. However, overall, an excellent experience. Thoroughly recommended.
