Great location
The Corner house is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Franschoek away from the busy centre of town. Forget about your car in the safe parking provided at the guesthouse and walk to town or the Huguenot monument. The garden and pool are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Our room was clean, neat and tastefully decorated. Good quality towels and great shower. Friendly staff served us a tasty breakfast in the dining room along with many overseas guests. My only regret was that I couldn't swim in the lovely pool because of some bad weather, it seems like a good enough excuse to go back soon.

Very happy!
We only were able to stay for one night, and found the accommodation spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The host was also most friendly. The location is convenient and quiet. We will certainly be returning.

Great base for exploring Franschhoek
We really enjoyed our stay at the Corner house. It was great to be able to walk to the restaurants for dinner. The breakfast was also very good. Would give it 4.5 if it was possible. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, great for cooling off during summer!

A romantic getaway
A very comfortable guesthouse in a beautiful place. The lack of a TV in the room no way detracted from the stay and the fireplace in the bedroom and the Victorian claw footed bath made for a very romantic stay. Franschoek was the highlight of our trip and I can not wait to go back!

Pleasant stay, good value for money
I stayed the weekend and found the Corner House to be good value for money. The location is excellent and very close to the best restaurants and pubs.
The guest house itself was clean and well looked after and I found the hosts to be very friendly.
The bathrooms could be improved a bit, but overall I would recommend this as a good value option.

Great relaxed beautiful B&B
The Corner House is a fab place owned and run by warm, friendly and very welcoming people, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is great and relaxed. the location is super 5 mins wander to the town center of Franschhoek. The rooms are truly lovely with plenty of space, very comfortable beds, and very nicely decorated, Can honestly say if we are within 100 miles of the corner house we would book it again.
Each room has private entrance so it feels secluded but you can equally sit and chat in a lounge or around the pool with your hosts and other guests. Top B&B with a relaxed friendly feel and great value too. Simon & Sorrel , from the UK
