The Legendary Nottingham Road Hotel

We only stayed one night at the Legendary Nottingham Road hotel. On first impression, we had our doubts. But the rooms were clean, cosy and the beds comfortable. The room we had was large and spacious. The shower wasn't great. Our evening meal was exceptional!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

A VERY disappointing stay to say the least. Our guests from overseas had a room, 14, which leaked as it was raining. They reported that their TV did not work, no concern or action taken. Staff were unfriendly, particularly at breakfast where, there was insufficient milk for cereals and tea !! Cleaners strolled trough the restaurant to remove the waste from the kitchen as we were having breakfast, really!!! The hot water boiler was indicated as OUT OF ORDER, yet was actually working when we requested hot water. Disturbingly, the law was clearly flouted with Patrons smoking in the bar area and not one member of Staff on Duty, took any action. Another concern was that there appears to be no FIRE fighting facilities or warning systems in place, this in a Hotel which has open fires and with visible woodwork everywhere. I saw no FHR's or Extinguishers or Smoke detectors anywhere!! I would not recommend this "Historic/Legendry Hotel"

The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and the bar had a great atmosphere.

We had a great stay at Notties Hotel. All of the staff we had interaction with was very attentive and helpful (reception, bar & restaurant). The pub is loads of fun and the food in the restaurant is fantastic. Notties Hotel is a must in my opinion - great value for money! It definitely is more than a pub with rooms. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the NRH. A special experience, so different from the normal boring hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, good food. Will definitely stay there again.

I love the oldness of the Hotel, it is beautiful, the bed was fantastic and I just love the cast iron claw bath tub. The food was very nice. Next time I want to visit room number 10.

We had a really enjoyable overnight at the hotel. Our room was good, the bed superb and the dinner on Sunday evening was fabulous. Breakfast on Monday was exactly what we needed and the whole one-night stay will be a great memory for us.

We had a lovely weekend and were treated very well by a efficient and very friendly staff members.
