Excellent welcome despite the owner not having a record, confirmed by her late husband, of our changed arrival date. We were very impressed by the service and friendliness in spite of the fact that she was going off on holiday early next morning and had not expected us.

Weekend getaway
The Vaal lookout is the place to be.The room was superb beyond our expectations and we enjoyed the privacy we had, all we needed for a weekend getaway. cant wait to go back in summer to enjoy the vibe.

It has been nice for us to stay at the Vaal Lookout. The food, environment and the security were marvelous. I would encourage anyone to come and stay at the Vaal Lookout. For us it was like we were still at home. We would like to thank Elaine and Jimmy, the owners, for their good hospitality.

Nice!
Very nice stay and host's were excellent. What I would like to see extra in the room would be a small fridge to at least keep your beverages cold and a TV. We had to share a TV lounge with Indian guests and that didn't work so well.

Vaal lookout weekend
Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. They made us feel welcome and at home. The accommodation clean and home from home. Lovely breakfast too! We will definitely be back again and can recommend it to our friends and family.
