Ons het lekker oornag op pad Kaap toe. Kamers gemaklik. Tee/ koffie/melk fasiliteite maar skraps. Net 1 per persoon... Ketel nie gewerk nie. Hul het ander 1 verskaf. Yskassie per kamer sal baie handig wees - mens wil goedjies koud hou vir lang pad wat voorlê. Heerlike buffet geniet - prys dalk bietjie hoog. Personeel vriendelik. Dankie.

Searching for yesteryear charm coupled with modern facilities? From the welcome when we entered to the staff to the location and even the food was truly more than expected The dinner & breakfast was very good and yes, I would go back to this hotel again.

Skoon en gerieflik
Alles was skoon en gerieflik, maar ons het bespreek vir ontbyt ook en toe ons daar kom, was dit nie ingesluit nie. Ons kamer het op die binnehof uitgekyk en daar was nie kantgordyne voor die vensters nie, m.a.w. ons kon nie die gordyne oopmaak sonder dat iemand van buite af sou insien nie. Ek het gevra vir 'n ander kamer, maar al het daar baie ander mense na ons ingeboek, was daar nie op díe stadium toe ek gevra het 'n ander kamer nie (moeilik om te glo). Ek en my man het altwee lamsbredie vir aandete bestel en alhoewel dit lekker was en vir my genoeg, was my man na ete nog honger, want die porsies was baie klein vir R80 (sonder enige bykosse, slegs bietjie stysel en 'n skeppie vleis). Ons het 'n paar aande later weer lamsbredie in Trompsburg geëet en dit was voorwaar die moeite werd: 'n groot bord kos met stysel, pampoen, groenboontjies, slaai en 'n lekker skep vleis. En dit vir R65.

Charming
Charming, inviting, friendly and enchanting - will definately stay there again, and have already told numerous people about it. Worth the longer route to CT from Johannesburg. Disappointed that meals advertised as specials were not available.

Pleasant stay
We really enjoyed our stopover at Transkaroo Hotel. The meals were excellent, rooms clean and very good equipped. Personnel were always friendly and an afternoon in the courtyard was what the doctor ordered for relaxation. Thanks!

Excellent experience
We really enjoyed our stay at Transkaroo lodge. The staff are very firendly and helpfull. Their food is also very good. The atmosphere in their restaurant makes it worth a visit even if only for lunch when passing throug. We will certainly be staying there again.

Leuk Afrikaans hotel
Lekker ouderwets hotel, gedateerd en charmant tegelijk. Voor een stopover een prima plek om te verblijven. Leuk en behulpzaam personeel. De airco op onze kamer was wel aan vervanging toe.
